The RDB Cloud service is a multi-datacentre infrastructure that’s optimised to run mission- critical database applications. The service comes complete with optional proactive, full-stack, full resolving services for application stacks and 14 of the most commonly-used databases. Unlike the public cloud, RDB can optimise the use of costly database cores including OracleDB and SQLServer. The service offers 24*7 support for mission-critical applications and delivers SLAs up to ten minutes. It can form part of a hybrid platform consisting of on-premise, public cloud and SaaS solutions. 

At RDB, we’re able to optimise your use of costly licences to reduce expense and boost performance in ways that Azure and AWS are unable to. Unlike most regular data centre MSPs, we offer a comprehensive solution for database systems. Most DC cloud suppliers will only offer an OS or VM, yet we can deliver a comprehensive service. The service was designed to complement other MSP services covering full application and database stack support. We provide support for each part of your systems including infrastructure, OS, application and full expert DBA services. In September a team of adventurers from RDB will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for this year’s chosen charity: Rainbow Trust!
The challenge is to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales one after the other over 24 hours.
We will be climbing Ben Nevis on a Saturday morning, Scafell Pike in the evening and Snowdon first thing on the Sunday morning!
